Here you can find links and suggestions that can help you learn more about yourself.

  • The first “Resource” is a free personality survey using the well-researched questions of the IPIP (International Personality Item Pool).  I’ll send you a multi-page summary of your results, including descriptions of the five factors (Negative Emotion; Extraversion; Openness; Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness). This link is for individuals over the age of 18.
  • A second resource for you is another free survey (as long as you are 16 years of age or older!).  This one is based upon Career Interest research that was placed in the public domain.  Using questions developed from the Oregon Vocational Interest Survey, I’ve designed a multi-page summary of how your answers follow the RIASEC career theory (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional).
  • Here’s a third link to a free positive psychology survey.  This survey is for those 18 years or older and will tell you about the virtues you possess.  Your personalized survey will include a description of how you compare with others on 24 separate virtues (such as Curiosity, Optimism, Leadership, Courage, Kindness, Prudence).  Give it a shot!
